Well, since I couldn't get stilts for the furniture, I have found one safe place for Miss Kate (until she can roll!). Since we have a baby gate at the bottom and the top of the stairs (Thanks Grandpa!), she is safe from harm (i.e. Jack) on one of the landings of the stairs. At least now I can turn away for a few seconds when needed!
