My first honorable duty

Today, I was asked to be the ring bearer at my Uncle Andrew and soon-to-be Aunt Erin's wedding in Seattle in September! Man, was I thrilled, not only because I could wear my tuxedo, but WHAT AN HONOR! I told Mom that I was a little worried, "What if I can't walk by then?" She assured me that it didn't matter and I should take my sweet time. If I can't walk, they might get me a wagon to ride. Too bad Murph and Finn can't go to the wedding with us and pull me! I am so excited and Mom keeps telling me that she can't wait to see me all dressed up!

Playdate with my friend Pablo!

Cleanliness is Close to Godliness

What's up with orange?

Tonight for dinner, Mom gave me carrots, goldfish, pinto beans and my milk from an orange cup. I told her she should have put an orange bib on me instead of yellow.

Father's Day 2008

Today we let Dad sleep in while we made quiche and had breakfast. I was already taking my morning nap when Dad woke up. He quietly came in to peek on me (I love when he does that). We have surprised Dad with winning lottery tickets all day, fun presents and took a trip to the pool. Mom bought Dad a HUGE tray of sushi for him to enjoy tonight while he watches ESPN after I go to sleep. I sure am thankful for such a great Daddy!

Happy Father's Day Dad!

I love you! Baby Jack (and Mom too!)

I am 10-months old today! Can you believe it????

Homemade Father's Day cards are the best!

I stole this idea from a friend! Jack and I have been busy getting ready for Father's Day all day! When it was "art time," he kept trying to escape his work of art mid-progress. It turned out pretty good but I think it took me longer to scrub the floor after he finished! I think Dan will like his Father's Day card, it certainly is a one-of-a-kind! (Just like our crazy little monkey-boy! We swear, the kid should have been named "Jeep." He is CRAZY!)

By the way, completely unrelated...yesterday I ordered a kids meal at Chick-Fil-A. I handed the toy back to the employee and said, "I don't need this, thanks." She responded, "Would you like a brownie or ice cream instead?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Of course! If only McD's offered the same sort of deal...
