I need stilts.

So, until I become an octopus and have 8 arms or grow eyes on the back of my head, I need to find stilts for all of our baby furniture. It took almost one month but Jack did it today, he drew blood on his sister. Not bad, just a little cut on her cheek but I can't turn my back for a second. He seems to like pushing her face in when she is quietly minding her own business swinging in the swing. If only all our furniture for Kate was taller...poor thing, at least she'll grow up to be tough!

Grandma and Grandpa Visit!

Wow...did I have a great time introducing my Grandparents to Baby Kate. After the introductions were over, I made sure that they spent lots of time with me! We spent a great weekend eating out, playing, walking the dogs, holding and snuggling with Kate and lounging around the house. It was so great to have them here, I know that Mom and Dad appreciated the extra help and as always the visits go way too fast. Both Mom and I cried at the airport, we can't wait for their return!

One bath was enjoyed more than the other...

Ramos Restaurant and the Mariachi Band

Of course we took a trip to Ramos Restaurant while Grandma and Grandpa were here. It was a Friday night so the mariachi band was playing. They played two special songs for me, "Elmos World" and "Old McPoncho had a poncho E-I-E-I-O." You can see from the pictures that I was way more into it than Baby Kate. She wouldn't even wake up to eat!
